- EaseUS Partition Master 9.1.1 Home Edition
reg add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies" /t Reg_dword /v WriteProtect /f /d 1]; depois de criada esta chave você dá duplo clique em "WriteProtect" e troca o "1" por "0" (zero) para desabilitar a proteção contra gravação (necessário reiniciar o Windows após a alteração do Registro); - Alterar outra chave do Registro do Windows: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\usbuhci, modificando o valor de "Start" de "4" para "3"; também não adiantou nada, mesmo reiniciando o computador;
- O hp_usb_disk_storage_format_tool_223 (Formatter.exe);
- Criar um CD de Boot com o "boot-cd-iso.zip" e utilizar o KillDisk para ZERAR todo o meu PEN DRIVE (neste caso, é preciso que seu computador esteja habilitado a dar o boot prioritariamente pelo CD/DVD);
- Usar o "Repair_v2.9.1.9.zip", mas vi que era o Formatter.exe;
- O "HS2.0_Utility_Repair V2.8.1.1 Pen Drive.zip" também é o Formatter.exe;
- Apagar os dados com o Eraser e, nem colocando a task para rodar na inicialização do sistema, consegui acesso ao PEN DRIVE;
- Utilizar o meu PEN DRIVE em outros computadores; também sem sucesso;
- Verificação de possíveis vírus ou malwares com Norton 360° (pago) e Avast Free; nenhum dos 2 nem ao menos conseguia acessar o PEN DRIVE;
Boa Sorte!

==================================================
Recently, when copying some pictures from an USB drive directly to mine, on a computer that was not mine, I have had an unpleasant surprise: when I got back to my computer, all files and folders only appeared in alien characters. As I had left the PEN DRIVE completely free to just copy the pictures, I thought: I delete everything, I free all the space and I copy the photos again later. For my surprise, it was not possible to delete any file or folder, and then I decided to FORMAT it. This also proved to be innocuous; so I decided to appeal for removing and recreating all the partitions. When using the Windows Control Panel | System and Security | Create and format hard disk partitions, I realized I had 3 partitions on my PEN DRIVE, two small and one larger. When trying to remove them, I've got the same message: "write protected". At this point I started to shoot everywhere; I tried:
- EaseUS Partition Master 9.1.1 Home Edition
- Editing the "Windows Registry" (Start | Run | regedit) and going to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SYSTEM | CurrentControlSet | Control | StorageDevicePolicies ― this key can be created with add.bat file with the following content (without the brackets): [cd \
reg add "HKLM \ System \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ StorageDevicePolicies" / t REG_DWORD / v WriteProtect / f / d 1]; after this key is created you should make a double click on "WriteProtect" and change the "1" to "0" (zero) to disable the write protection (restart Windows after the registry change); - Changing another key of the Windows Registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ services \ usbuhci by modifying the value of "Start" from "4" to "3"; it did not work also, even after restarting the computer;
- The hp_usb_disk_storage_format_tool_223 (Formatter.exe);
- Creating a Boot CD with "boot-cd-iso.zip" and use KillDisk to CLEAR all my PEN DRIVE (in this case, it is necessary that your computer is able to give priority boot from CD/DVD);
- Using "Repair_v2.9.1.9.zip", but I saw it was the Formatter.exe;
- The "HS2.0_Utility_Repair V2.8.1.1 Pen Drive.zip" which is also the Formatter.exe;
- Deleting data with Eraser and, nor even putting the task to run at system startup, I have got access to the PEN DRIVE;
- Using my PEN DRIVE on other computers, also without success;
- Verification of possible virus or malware in Norton 360° (paid) and Avast Free; none of both could even access the PEN DRIVE;
- I went to the site of the manufacturer of my PEN DRIVE (Transcend) and there I found the "online recovery software". I downloaded the V15 and the Generic (V10) versions, but my PEN DRIVE is the V10 (8 GB). I ran all the downloaded versions without any success. The program ran up to some extent, but, almost at the final, it said "inaccessible disk".
At this point, my PEN DRIVE was recognized by the system, but no longer appeared in Windows Explorer. Now, in the partition manager of the Windows Control Panel (quoted above) it appeared only a single partition available (under my PEN DRIVE letter), but it was still inaccessible. The message "insert a disk" was a constant when I clicked on the letter corresponding to the PEN DRIVE.
All the people I contacted were unable to give me new suggestions in a way I could repair my PEN DRIVE or they were saying "I had lost my PEN DRIVE".
